What exactly do you sell?
I sell handcrafted web design and visual identity design that differentiates my clients’ companies from their competitors, increasing client profits by enabling them to reach their ideal customers. From there I develop custom websites that help my clients boost their visibility to their audience and grow their online presence.
How much does it cost to work with you?
The specific price varies and will factor in my hourly rate, on a schedule that allows for revisions and updates. When I learn more about the format and the specifications of your project, I’ll be happy to provide you a detailed quote. If you already understand how profitable design can be, let’s start your project.
Can you schedule the work right away?
Possibly. I only accept two or three projects at any one time and always assign priority to current clients first. That said, I’m flexible in my scheduling, and will invite prospective clients to reserve their timeframes in my calendar. Simply head over to this quick questionnaire to get started. If I’m confident I can help, we will agree on a detailed and realistic schedule of how you would like the project to advance.
How long will the project take to complete?
For many projects, usually three weeks to one month or more. The timeline will depend on which service options you chose and whether you also desire any additional items and services over the course of our work together. I’m flexible in my work style and am able to adjust the initial offer in order to best meet your needs.
What does the process involve?
Here is a brief overview of the design process. I’ve also created a more detailed description, which you can read about here. In general consider these phases:
• Consultation (research, strategy)
• Creation (concept and site design)
• Production (coding and development)
• Delivery (project handover)
How do you accept payment?
For most projects, I request a deposit of 50% before scheduling the work, payable via e-transfer, bank transfer or credit card payment. I will consider other payment options upon request. The subsequent invoices become due according to the agreed upon payment schedule, as detailed in the project estimate. Any remaining balance is owed upon completion of the project, prior to supply of original artwork. Before starting work, I will also require a clear design brief and contract—documents which I can definitely prepare for you.
We’re in different countries and timezones. Will this affect things?
While I do focus on local clients first, I enjoy working with clients from all over the globe, and this sometimes makes it impossible to meet face to face. With chat meetings, calls and communication via email, we both benefit from the time and energy savings by avoiding commutes—and the environment thanks us too.
